Welcome to Brutally.ai. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our service.

1. Service Description

Brutally.ai is an AI-powered feedback and analysis platform that provides honest evaluations of ideas, business plans, websites, CVs, creative work, life decisions, and uploaded images. Our service uses artificial intelligence to generate structured, candid assessments with actionable guidance.

The AI-generated content is intended for informational and educational purposes only. It should not be considered professional legal, financial, medical, or career advice. You should always consult qualified professionals before making significant decisions based on our evaluations.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account through our authentication provider (Manus OAuth). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

3. Subscription Plans & Payments

Brutally.ai offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise recurring charges to your chosen payment method until you cancel.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing cycle.

Price changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. Existing subscribers will receive at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect.

Refunds: Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the service, please contact us within 7 days of the charge.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Brutally.ai to:

  • Submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the service in bulk
  • Circumvent usage limits, rate limiting, or subscription restrictions
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit AI-generated evaluations without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and technology comprising Brutally.ai are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. The AI-generated evaluations you receive are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use unless your subscription plan explicitly permits commercial use.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the platform (text, images, documents). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it through our AI systems solely for the purpose of providing the service.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Brutally.ai uses artificial intelligence to generate evaluations and feedback. While we strive for accuracy and helpfulness, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases. The "brutal honesty" framing is a stylistic approach designed to provide direct feedback — it does not guarantee the correctness or completeness of any evaluation.

Important: AI evaluations are not a substitute for professional advice. Scores, ratings, and assessments are generated algorithmically and should be treated as one data point among many when making decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Brutally.ai and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable, uninterrupted access to Brutally.ai but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or via email. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
